Engaging Youth Voices
Thank you for expressing your interest in our upcoming Youth Town Hall Series featuring Senator Monica Martinez, former East Middle School Principal. These events are designed to empower youth voices in Brentwood, Central Islip, and North Bay Shore. As the District 1 Youth Advisory Board, we are dedicated to ensuring that the concerns of our younger generation are heard and addressed effectively by engaging with elected officials.
Shaping Our Future
We invite you to participate by submitting questions or comments for Senator Martinez to address during the event on May 1st at Brentwood High School, from 1:45 pm to 3:00 pm. We specifically seek inquiries related to climate justice, climate change, and environmental justice. Your submissions will be instrumental in shaping our advocacy efforts to protect our community from the impacts of climate change and address disparities in minority neighborhoods.
